Dinner for the cat.
Going for the small ones on this lake. In fact, I have never caught a big Perch here. However, in the next hole, when camera is off, I got a pretty nice Pike that I put back.
The perch was a success to my friends cat. He really loves boiled tiny fish:-)
I used the ProPimple mini and the longest power chain dropper for this event. Hell Red Chenille size 16 + Bloodworm imitation. Very easy but quite fun!

Welcome Winter! Bye bye Fall.

Tungsten Marmooskas
You can use this single in shallow water or let a Pro Pimple take it down in deeper water. This technique is described in the "Tackle Tips" section in Pro Scandinavia Webshop.

It is a bit too much playin "man or mouse" right now out there.
Another treble!

Finally!!!
The first trip is always something special! We had to try several lakes before we finally found one with ice thick enough. This video is actually the very first hole and the fish had been waiting for us apparently:-). Caught a few here and got about 11 lbs totally before the day was over.

Report from Maine!
Another nice treble.
Orange is a classic color for treble hooks and the shimmering blue head makes it really hot.
You´ll find it here!

Seatrout fishing when ice isn´t strong enough
Wednesday, November 4, 2009
New treble hook.
You will find it here.
Let`s be careful on the first ice!
The first ice is strong but let´s not get too brave. This video is from our first trip last year.
The ice here is 2 inches and that is enough even for a 242 1/2 lbs angler:-).
Very cold and the fish wanted a longer tackle. We used the ProPimple King along with Monster mini-balance and added 2-3 maggots.
The Swedish Ice Fishing Record!
Today's ice fishing competition at Borgsjön was an enormous success for FC Competition and the Pro Pimple Jumbo!
Anders Bergman wins at incredible 34 625 grams /(76lbs)! Ola "Jangler" Sundstrom 2nd at fantastic 30 982 grams!
Anders and Ola were fishing in a depth of 13-16 feet. No sneaking off to sit alone but along with several other skilled anglers. That is how real winners stand out!
Anders told me that the fish ranged from 2 - 7 oz but also some really big ones. A very nice Perch of 44 1/2 oz. By that fish he also won the side competition Biggest Fish. Grand slam!
It was a winning tactic to lift the schools a few meters from the bottom by raising the lure a little bit after each fish. This, as well as not sit too long in each hole became the method of the day.
Both Anders and Ola used their ProPimple Jumbo with a treble hook size 10. That lure was new 2008 and have already been involved in many victories including 3 weights over the dream limit 30 kg(66 lbs). (Samuelsson had 32 kg(70 1/2 lbs) in the Sundsjön earlier this year.
The fishing spot was a 30-minute brisk walk from the start and Anders had only a minute left of the official time, when he dripping with sweat and numb arms managed to drag himself and the catch off the ice. He cursed himself for starting the walk home so late.
CONGRATULATIONS Anders Bergman to a great win and the new Swedish record! Congratulations to "Jangler" for second place and another big catch!
